The Palaszczuk Labor Government has secured two thirds of the funding for Coopers Plains level crossing - $146 million in partnership with the Australian Government.
The LNP Brisbane City Council has not put in its one third contribution and we need an extra $33 million from Council right now to match our $73 million.
We’re using the state funding to get on with the job and to do the planning, early designs and business case. The business case for the project will be finished next year and will confirm the final costings.
Join my campaign and sign my petition for Council to put up its fair share.
